Historical Notes

The commitment and desire to serve the Cambodian people were the reasons Mr. Tin Seng and Mrs. Leoung Kimly decided to establish IEL International School (then Institute of English Language) in June 2003. It was for them, a personal mission so that they could offer all for their country. At that time, the thirst for English language education was evident from every Cambodian - young or old. Learn English!... was the battle cry, a  challenge they had to surmount in order to fully integrate themselves with the growing communication mainstream in Cambodia. How else can they fairly participate in business, be competitive in their job, or have the capacity in general if they are not equipped with the necessary communication skills they need to have?  The answer was the establishment of an educational institution that is internationally competitive, offering quality and high standards of learning at a reasonable cost thereby making it accessible to all.

In five years that IEL has existed, it continues to grow and has succeeded in bringing international standards to Cambodian education.
