TOEFL Preparation course is purposely for overseas scholarships. It is the most preferred language test of various universities around the world especially the United States. It is designed to assess whether you are ready to study in an academic environment where the medium of instruction is purely English. TOEFL measures your reading, writing, speaking and listening proficiency. The Institute of English Language will prepare you for all these aspects, while progressively developing your examination techniques.

This program is for students who successfully complete level 15 and who would like to continue their studies at IEL.

As many students wish to gain greater fluency in their spoken English, the specialized Speaking and listening program is tailored entirely towards developing verbal communication skills. The role of writing and reading is down-played in class and students are guided and encouraged to participate in class discussions in order to attain a high level of fluency.

Lower levels of the Speaking and Listening series of courses incorporate a large element of stimulating real-life listening tasks in order to provide students with maximum exposure to the spoken word.

As students progress through the levels, a greater volume of communicative speaking tasks are introduced to especially develop their ability to converse fluently in English.

They consider this to be their only ticket to making their dreams come true- pursuing the course they envisioned to get them a good and rewarding job. This is a manifestation of the students’ lack of confidence in taking national exams because they have not been exposed and prepared for such an undertaking.

This course therefore aims to provide these needs of the students. At IEL you will get a customized review to meet the needs of this rapidly changing global community that is affordable but with top-quality services, delivered by its first rate teachers. It starts from examination orientation: what to do and what to expect before and during the examination days; review of the different areas of the examination; and actual examination pre tests.

For Institute of Foreign Languages and other University Entrance Tests Review Courses, IEL provides a comprehensive review package which gives emphasis to what the students actually need to learn in order to pass the IFL exam and other University entrance test rather than generic and curriculum-based method adopted by others in the industry. This approach increases the students' chances of passing and ensures that they get the most out of the study sessions.

IEL’s Review Package consists of 50-hour review sessions. Students will also receive review materials and sample exams. Each language area will be allotted 10 hours. Two hours daily for 5 weeks. There will be an Orientation and Diagnostic Exam at the beginning and a Post-Evaluation Exam at the end of the program. This way IEL will be able to tailor sessions best suited to the students' needs.

Many students of English as a foreign language demonstrate ability with skills-based work but lack the accuracy necessary to articulate their thoughts or express their ideas with grammatical precision. Our Grammar Focus course is devoted entirely to the exclusive study of English grammar and form.

Grammar Focus broadens students’ comprehension and ability to use complex grammatical forms and adds crucial accuracy to the process of second language development. Learning the Khmer language is equally important for both local and foreigners who want to be proficient enough with this language. For students wishing to specifically develop their use and knowledge of Khmer grammatical forms and their usage and also sharpen their reading comprehension skills, the Khmer language course is the perfect programmer of study.

Each day, the lessons are focus on various speaking and listening activities with wide array of vocabulary, grammatical forms and analysis of their usage.
